50% off my FIT program👉🏼Link in bio. ~ Overthinking, over complicating, over judging, overreacting, over analysing, overdoing ... None of this is actually doing us any good! We start creating things in our head that aren't true, or worse than what they seem. It just causes us to be stressed out and confused. - Take a deep breath and switch off your crazy thinking for a few minutes and think about something totally irrelevant.. Something that makes you feel calm, relaxed and happy like a walk along the beach, take your dog to the park, have a herbal tea under a tree or sit in the sun & read a book - anything that will make you feel happy and stress free. If there is something that needs to be sorted out, it will be, but thinking irrationally a million miles an hour will not help you at all. Take a step back, be calm and trust that things will work out, we don't need all the answers right now. We will figure things out and adapt if needed. We're so much stronger than we think we are. Being in a stressed state all the time is very damaging to your whole body and mind. Take some deep breaths, take some time out, try to relax and take care of YOU. 😘 . @emilyskyefitness 💪🏼 @emilyskyebeauty 💄 . #emilyskye #stress #becalm #fitfam #emilyskyefit

My FIT program 👉🏼 click the link in my profile. ~ If you look in the mirror and see no changes, decide that you're going to keep going and stay motivated because in time you will get there as long as you don't give up. - That's the difference between those who succeed and those who fail! One day you will look in that mirror having reached your goal and you'll be so proud of what you have achieved and you'll be SO glad you didn't give up!😊 P.S. I'm back into training hard after being unwell for almost 3 weeks and even though I felt as though I went backwards I know that if I keep at it each day I'm going to get closer and closer to my goals! I won't give up until I reach my goals no matter what gets in my way and neither should you! 😘 . @emilyskyefitness 💪🏼 . #emilyskye #emilyskyefit #makeachange #goals #fitfam #fitnessgoals

My FIT program 👉🏼 Link in profile! ~ I got to spend some time down at the beach today! The weather is warming up and it was an AMAZING day! Feeling very blessed. I just finished up at the gym, my first leg & butt session in over 2.5 weeks (due to the flu). I'm still not 100% and keep coughing so I dropped the weight of my deadlifts to 60kg. I just focused on form and time under tension with a tempo of 1:0:3:0 (1 sec up, 3 secs down) and did 4 x15. I also did glute lunges 4 x 20 (with 10kg Dumbbells) , glute bridges with 24kg kettle bell, sumo squats with 24kg kettle bell and lateral work on the adductor machine. - I did these with a tempo of 1 sec concentric (up) & 3 secs eccentric (down). My legs and butt are feeling it now!! Time to continue with my "project big booty" haha! Just in time for my FIT Challenge for my members to start on Monday! Who's doing it with me? Guess what the focus is? ... How'd you guess!! It's booty!! Hehe! 😝😉 . . @emilyskyefitness 💪🏼 . #emilyskye #emilyskyefit #bootygoals #projectbooty #fitfam #fitchallenge #esfitchallenge #emilyskyefitchallenge

Health & fitness programs 👉🏼 link in profile! . ~ You don't get the things you wish for, you get what you work for! Sometimes it's really hard and tiring, sometimes you'll feel like it's impossible and you're never going to get there. Sometimes you'll feel like giving up and sometimes you will slip up or throw in the towel. But if you want this, you really want it then you'll have to be strong and resilient, you'll have to be dedicated and you'll have to believe that it's possible to get there. Motivation is a day-to-day thing that you're responsible for, just as you need to be responsible for your actions. - It won't happen accidentally and it won't happen immediately. It's going to take deliberate effort every day and it's going to take hard work and consistency! . I know I want it, I want to be my best and I want to live my best life possible and I won't give up on myself! NOW, how bad do YOU want it and what are you prepared to do to get it?? 👊🏼😉 . www.emilyskye.com . . @emilyskyefitness 💪🏼 . #emilyskye #emilyskyefit #fitfam #workhard #goals #fitness #makeachange

My full meal plan & exercise program is in the link in my profile! ☺ ~ It's seems a lot of people assume that in order to get "lean" or "toned" you'll have to do endless hours of cardio and starve yourself. They assume if someone goes to the gym they're trying to lose weight or if they're eating "healthy" they're on a diet. This is not the case. I live a healthy and active lifestyle and it has nothing to do with wanting to lose weight. I just want to live my best and healthiest life and have a healthy, strong and well functioning body and mind. This way I have more energy, my mind feels balanced, I'm more pleasant to be around for my loved ones and when I have children I'll be fit and healthy for them. Living this lifestyle makes me happy. I truly believe that being active and healthy improves the quality of our life but I also believe that people should do what they want to do and this may be eating junk and never exercising. If this it what makes someone truly happy then that's what they should do. As long as it isn't hurting other people of course! 😊 It's all about what's most important to each person I guess. I also think that if someone says they're happy eating junk all the time yet they whinge about feeling lethargic, unwell or don't feel confident in themselves it's contradictory! We need to accept the consequences of living a certain lifestyle and not complain about it if that's what we've chosen. I know I don't like it when people judge me and the way I live so I never want people to feel like I'm judging their lifestyle choices. We should feel free to do what we want with our own lives and do what makes us happy - whatever that may be. 😊 #emilyskye #emilyskyefit #makeachange

There are many different ways to become "fit, strong, healthy, lean etc" I personally prefer to be very flexible and relaxed with my meals. I don't track anything and never have and I listen to my body. I eat a variety of fresh unprocessed foods and I have "treats" when I feel like it. For me it's all about how my body and mind "feels". The amount of calories I eat doesn't concern me, I care more about what my body does with those calories; how it processes them, what effect it has on my body & organs and how well my body absorbs nutrients. I personally don't want to spend my life counting calories or tracking macros as I feel it causes me to be too "obsessive" and it doesn't feel like a life for me. That's just me though! - Some people love tracking & being structured with their meals - It's all about what works for the individual and what they can maintain. If eating a particular food makes you bloat or feel sick or lethargic then it's probably a good idea to consider removing it from your diet or eating less of it. At the end of the day your "lifestyle" should be something you can maintain and something you enjoy. Sometimes when people are new to a "healthy lifestyle" being structured and tracking calories and macros works well for them then they might become less structured the more they learn about what works for them. It's good to change things up too and have your "healthy lifestyle" evolve! That way you don't get bored. :) I believe that if you're a competitor that tracking has it's place & you have more control but for a lifestyle maintenance it's not necessary in my opinion. One thing I do recommend is doing a lot of your OWN research and not just listening to one person's opinion. If this is a lifestyle for you and what you're doing feels good and you can maintain it then it's right for you! ☺ - I never claim that my lifestyle is the "only way" & I respect everyone's different opinions, lifestyle choices & beliefs. I love sharing what I have experienced & what works for me & thousands of ladies who have taken on my advice but at the end of the day you've got to find out for yourself what's best for you. What do you prefer? To track or not?

Whenever I am at my fittest and healthiest and feel my best people make more negative comments than ever!! It's almost as if they like it when I'm not my best. I get comments like "you need to eat 2 cheeseburgers today", "you're getting too skinny", "too much", "you're losing weight", "you're not healthy" etc etc. I think it's absolutely crazy reading these comments knowing that I am the fittest, healthiest and strongest I've ever been in my life, weigh the most I've ever weighed and I'm eating more food than ever!! I've never felt better mentally or physically and I've never been more confident. It just goes to show how much people love to put others down and they seem to like seeing other people unhappy! - All the more reason not to worry about what other people think of you and live for you and do what makes you happy! I truly appreciate every single person here who has been constantly supporting me and what I do. I love reaching as many people as I can and hopefully have a positive impact on their lives even just a little bit! Nothing beats that I think!! 👍🏼☺ Oh and just incase any of you are unaware...you can't grow muscle by under eating!!😉💪🏼 Have a beautiful day everyone and remember that you can't live a positive life with a negative mind or attitude!! How you treat others and what you put out to the world comes back to you so choose who you want to be wisely and ask yourself "Am I someone I am proud to be?" 😘 Love Em. . @emilyskyefitness @emilyskyebeauty Snapchat: emilyskyefit . #emilyskye #kissmybiceps #makeachange #bekind #positivity #lovenothate #upliftothers

💗 My healthy eating & exercise program is in the link in my profile. ☺ . I see people making negative comments about themselves daily.. such as "I can never be like that", "I can never be in shape" "I don't like myself" "I hate my body" "I'm not good enough" "I have so far to go until I reach my goal" etc etc. Saying these things is not helping you achieve anything and it's definitely not encouraging! Stop ruining it before you even properly try, stop telling yourself you can't achieve something before you even commit yourself, stop criticising yourself for everything you aren't and start being more positive about yourself!! You CAN reach your goals so stop hiding behind all the reasons why you think you can't and tell yourself you CAN! Everything you want in your life starts with YOU and what YOU think!! You think this is all BS? Well try it for yourself, then judge!👍😉 Start changing the way you think! Start appreciating the life you've been given, start believing in yourself and encouraging yourself to go for the things you want and stop all this self sabotage and restrictions you put on yourself! Start living at your full potential! Forget about what anyone else is doing, or what they have that you don't.. Focusing on that will NEVER achieve anything good! Say these words right now: "I will (insert what your goal is)" "I am good enough" "I am capable" "I deserve this" "I don't care what others think" "I'm doing this for me" "I take control of my life" "I am happy, positive and determined" "Nothing and NOBODY is going to stop me!" - Or make up your own affirmations! Say these everyday! Even though you might feel silly just do it anyway! especially before you go to a job interview, meeting or some other situation that you might be feeling uncomfortable or scared about. Affirmations and self belief have honestly helped me SO much and I hope they can help you too! See link in my profile for my healthy eating & exercise program.☺ . I eat healthy food and exercise because my health is important to me. My priority is being healthy and strong mentally and physically but another reason why I live this lifestyle is because I love how it makes me feel and I love what it does for my body superficially speaking. I believe that our "health" should come before your looks but there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to look good and feel confident. 😊 I have achieved self confidence from this lifestyle and specially lifting weights - they changed the shape of my body! It hasn't been an easy process though. I started with a very "straight up and down" figure with a small butt, skinny legs & twig arms. We obviously all have different bodies, insecurities and goals and we usually want what we don't have and I want shape so I work hard for it and I am proud of what I've been able to achieve. ☺ I think it's very important to appreciate your progress getting to your goals and not be so focussed on your goal that you don't actually notice how far you've already come. If you want something then work hard for it but don't forget to stop and appreciate each little goal you've reached no matter how big or small. 😊 #emilyskye #emilyskyefit #makeachange #beyourbest #fitfam #goals
